Men have always been advised to get shaved because beards can be a breeding ground for bacteria. But it seems that advice is outdated now because new science discovery has found out that the facial bears produces antibodies that fight bacteria. Allergens that are
supposed to fly into your nose and eyes are trapped by your facial hair.
Secondly, when some mannequins were placed under the hot sun and outfitted some with beards, their radiation was measured and it was discovered that beards are capable of producing sun protection factor (SPF) of up to 21, better than the normal sunscreen which comes in SPF of 15. In other words, beards protects your skin against the sun. It provides UV protection as sunscreen. So forget about the fact that beards make you rugged and embrace its advantages.
So let the beards grow!
